Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-10-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied local language of the State or Union Territory of the Postal Circle concerned or Hindi as Subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) and it should be deposited in a Post Office of the circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt, Rs. 50/- for Application form and it is available at All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles from 11-08-2012 to 25-09-2012.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Aptitude Test, Typing Test/Computer Test.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to  “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-1100010″ on or before 01-10-2012 through Speed Post/Registered Post of India Post only.

Mahagenco Vacancy Details:

1. Junior Engineer – 444 vacancies
2. Sub Engineer – 178 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates must be of age below 33 years for any of the posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 31-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates are must possess BE in relevant discipline for Jr Engineer post and Diploma in relevant discipline for Sub Engineer post. For details of disciplines of qualifications required, refer to the notification.
Application Fee Details: Application Fee would be Rs. 500/- for Jr Engineer post and Rs. 400/- for Sub Engineer post (Rs. 250/- and Rs. 200/- for the posts respectively for reserved category candidates). Fee amount must be remitted only through Online Payment Gateway using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Online Test and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply online for the desired post on or before 16-09-2012. After submission of Online Application candidates must retain the system generated Registration Password for further use and must also take print out of Application Form and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates to Post Box Number 8712, Andheri (East). Mumbai-400069 on or before 22-09-2012.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to www.mahagenco.in and select the ‘Opportunities’ link in the Home Page.
2. Select the ‘Download’ link besides Advt No. 07 (Aug) 2012.
3. Read the notification, click on ‘Next’ button, read instructions and click on ‘New Registration’ to start the online application process.
4.Fill the online applications in four stages, namely, Personal Details, Payment, Qualification Details, Experience Details and Check List.
5. Fill all marked details carefully, check once for errors and click on ‘Submit’ button at each stage.
6. Retain the system generated Registration Number and Password, after submission of Online Application.
7. Take print out of Application Form and send it as per details given above.
